Calm after the storm!

Well it was a nasty storm last night however, driving wasn't too bad on the way home from work.
We have to thank the NH plowing crew for the find job they do trying to keep the roads as clear as they can!

Here are some images from Meredith this morning! The sunrise was beautiful as usually!
I do love the views up here and I imagine that it would be pretty hard to find someone to disagree with that.

Enjoy the day if you have it off!

Cheers!

New Drawing- Cow 2

Here is a new drawing that I finished a few weeks ago. I finally got around to take a picture of a bunch of art I have been wanting to photograph for a while now!
Yay for me! Way not to be lazy!
Okay, so the title isn't the most original but it says it all. This is my second drawing of a cow. I am beginning to like cows and I think I will draw more of them.

What do you think? Do you like it or not so much? I tried to break it up and do something different with the drawing instead of having it so straight forward.

I think I like it. No wait, I definitely like it!

If you are a cow fanatic or know someone who is let me know I will draw something up for you or a friend and we can work out a price.

Till next time....stay warm out there!!!

New Drawing-Ninja Mouse

He's fast like Buddha, strong as a sturdy table with three legs and hungrier than a mouse in mouse trap!

It's Ninja Mouse!

I look forward to drawing some more of this character in the future. It was a lot of fun and I think he looks pretty cool.

I should be posting some more art here and on my web site when I have a chance.  I am going to be selling some bookmarks soon and once I have everything worked out I will be posting them everywhere I can.

What do you think of Ninja Mouse?

Let me know your thoughts.

Cheers!

Monday

Whelp it's Monday...again. Yay!

It was a cold one again this morning not as cold as the past few days, but cold nonetheless. At least I had a beautiful sunrise to look at this morning.

Sorry no pictures this time around. I was debating whether or not to grab my camera. I am kicking myself now!

I did take a crappy photo on my cell phone. It's really not worth posting.

In other news, I had a long and tiring weekend of watching my little brother (7), and my sister (12). Always a fun time because I get to play the Wii, boardgames and watch cartoons.

Wait...I do that already anyways. ;)

I can't wait to get some art done tonight. I have been working on some new art and I have a lot of ideas kicking around that I can't wait to get on paper.

How was your weekend? Has anyone created any cool art recently? Taking any amazing pictures? Well let me know when you have a chance.

Cheers!

Record Player!

Okay, I know I said I was going to start posting more this year. Well 2009 isn't too much different from 2008 blogging habits. I am truly trying to post more and this is my fresh start!

This summer I bought I record player. It is a sweet record player! The sound is phenomenal and there is hardly any damage!

I am not sure what year the record player was made however, I do know who made it: General Electric.

Anyways, this was a great buy and I am glad I found it (AT A YARD SALE)!!!!

Let me know what you think and if you have one and might know what year this one is from please do let me know.

Till next time.

Peace

Tangled Up In Blue

This is the first painting of the series I started this summer paying homage to the one, the only, Bob Dylan!

In case you can't tell from the title of this post this painting is called "Tangled Up In Blue".

If you haven't been to my website to check this out (shame on you) I am creating 10 paintings/ drawings (all depends on my mood) based upon the song titles from Bob Dylan's album "Blood On the Tracks".

For the first track on the album "Tangled Up In Blue" I decided to take an old guitar my brother gave me (as I don't play, yet :) )
and tangle the guitar in Blue.

Bob was clearly talking about love in this song and there are so many things someone can love in ones lifetime. He probably wanted people or a select few to believe he was talking about a woman that he loved.
And I am 99% sure he was talking about a woman, but there is that 1% of me that likes to think that he was talking about his one true love, music.

Let me know what you think of the painting. I have the second painting started and I hope to get back in the studio and work on it sometime soon.
It's hard to do because I just started working on this new 3 piece series based on the love of funk, and brass instruments!!

Check back for updates on all my work. I will try to make more frequent posts. It's hard to work this into a routine, but I will try!

Cheers!

Happy New Year!!!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and I hope everyones 2009 is soo0 much better than 2008.

Okay, now that I got that out of the way. I want to talk about a series I started this summer. I haven't had time to post anything so here it is.

This new series (all drawings so far) is called "Invasion".

Here are the first two:
