Stop and Smell Them Roses

I woke up this morning like I do any Monday morning and I was on my way to work. As I was driving toward Rt. 25 West bound, the sun rise caught my eye in the rear view mirror.

Now this has happened to me on several occasions and every time this happens I always say I will stop the next time and take some pictures and that rarely if at all happens.

Finally I decide to seize the opportunity that was thrown my way and I turned my car around to take some pictures of the beautiful sunrise that started to shine across a foggy lake Winnipesaukee.

Here are a few of the pictures I took enjoy!

Check those guys out. They are pretty killer. Nate Wilson is the former keyboard player of Percy Hill and current keyboardist of A.O.D.

Warhol

"Being good in business is the most fascinating kind of art"- Andy Warhol

Some people have mixed opinions of this guy. However, there is definitely some real genius (along with the madness) in his work. He had an idea and he never stopped believing, never stopped pushing his idea to the absolute limit until he was where he wanted to be.

His work and his potential has been and is very inspiring and should be to everyone who has goals.

I have several goals as do most people and as long as you have these goals "dreams" (however you want to phrase it) and you have the burning desire/ passion to follow through with them, eventually they will come true and you can accomplish anything you set your mind to.

If you're interested in checking out some of his work there is an exhibit down in Manchester, NH at the Currier Museum of Art. You can find some information here

I see your duck and raise you a cow!

As I was driving to Massachusetts on Saturday I saw some cows up on a hill and I decided to take some pics.  There was great lighting at 9:00 AM and I so often pass these opportunities up.

This farm is down the road from my parents house and I have always wanted to take some pictures of the animals they have roaming about the area. I am glad I decided to turn around and take some pictures. I have a bunch more that I will eventually upload somewhere some other time. Here are a few that I like

Yay cows!! or as my g/f calls them (cowsies)

Star Wars

It was my lil' bros' birthday this weekend. He turned the big number 7 Woohooo! Oh what fun it was.
For his birthday he decided he wanted to have a Star Wars party and that he did. My family and I even went to great lengths to make him a Death Star cake. My girl friend (Angela) and I were the creators and for our first times making a cake I would have to say it looked wicked good! Everyone was very impressed with the way it came out especially the birthday boy!

Here are some pictures of the cake:

All in all it was a great weekend. I even had the privilege to scare some kids with a creepy Yoda mask! Good food, great people and the SOX won to push the series to game 7!

That will always be the perfect combination to a great weekend in my book.

Go SOX!

Barebrush say whattt?

For the past four months I have submitted some art to Barebrush.com.

This is where artist's around the world can upload any figure art they want to for a small fee.
The art work can be created in any media however, from my understanding, if the subject matter is too "riskay" the site adminstrator will not post your work.

Any ways submit your work and have some fun checking out some cool art!!

Check out my newly submitted work:
