New Art

Alright, that's it, it's go time... I am finally going to make the jump onto etsy!!! I don't know why I have put it off till now but I have. I am going to try and get some stuff uploaded to my shop. Once I have something up I will let you know. Until that time... here is some new art I have been working on.

Happy Earth Day!

It's that time a year again... the ONE day out of the year when we appreciate the one place in the universe (theoretically speaking) where the chemical balance is just right to sustain life. COME ON... ONE day our of 365???



Not to get preachy on you or anything-but I will if I have to- We should be mindful stewards! We need to be. OUR existence depends on it.

Pick up some trash on the side of the road, reycyle, plant a tree, carpool to work when you can. These simple everyday things can change the world.

Here we go again!

Okay, I am not good about posting routinely; however, I will do my best! I have been extremely busy at the day job and I haven't had much time to post as I have been creating new art and updating the site.

This weekend I am workin' in the studio and getting a ton of work done. Listening to music and possibly a few pints of my favorite! Right now I am listening to Ronan Quinn. If you haven't heard him he is a great Irish musician and I highly recommend taking a listen.

PS- This time last year, I was in Ireland drinkin' my first pint on the Emerald Isle. Rugby 6 nations today! Go Ireland!!

New Art

I just finished this drawing last week. I used Cray-pas, oh yes!, remember those?? Anyways, I started this at about 2AM and ended forcing myself to stop around 4:30AM in order to still function the following day at a reasonable hour. I ended up finishing this about a week later with a couple of short sessions.

I think this looks great. My inspiration for this piece came from listening to one of my favorite bands (tea leaf green). If you have the chance to see them, they are a must see. They are known for their high energy shows with insane improvisational jams.

I call this drawing, "Trevor" inspired by the keyboard player of TLG. This is eco friendly as it was created on recycled cardboard.

Fresh whatttt? Oh yeah, Fresh LIFE!!

This is a Clown Cow for my lil' bro Max. He wanted me to create a clown cow for his birthday and put the drawing on a shirt. Here is the drawing.

Moose II

Here is some more eco art. I have been trying to finish up some drawings I started a few months ago, so here is another "Moose II".
I happen to like this guy more than the first Moose. What do you think?

This was drawn on cardboard using pencil, Black charcoal and white charcoal. I think the charcoal work really well with the brown cardboard behind it.

Eco Art

Here is one of the several drawings that I have been working on as of late. These new drawings that I have been working on are drawn on recycled cardboard. I started using cereal boxes, cracker boxes and will be moving on to corrugated cardboard.

With this drawing I used oil pastels which isn't environmental friendly. However, I am planning on using another medium in the future. 

I also have some more drawings on cardboard that I plan on uploading soon!

I hope you enjoy the art and that when you look at this you can't help but smile.
