This weekend I am workin' in the studio and getting a ton of work done. Listening to music and possibly a few pints of my favorite! Right now I am listening to Ronan Quinn. If you haven't heard him he is a great Irish musician and I highly recommend taking a listen.

Slow Start

It's been slow going as far as posting here for 2010. I have been utilizing my time and really trying to wrap up the rest of my web site which I am now hoping to have LIVE by the end of January.
Life gets in the way of projects sometimes and I am okay with that. I wouldn't have it any other way.
I am heading to GA next week for 4 days! Should be great. I am heading down to see my brother graduate from Ranger School. The kid is a BAD ASS. But as an older brother I can still put him down! :)

I will be bringing the camera and taking pics as he will be tending to the break down of Ranger school and preparing for graduation ceremonies. My mom and I will be exploring when we are not with him. Should be a blast!

If I don't post that much the rest of the month you know why.... I AM BUSY!!! :)

I will be back.

Cheers!

Travelin'

"I'm cracked and I'm dried out...
and I haven't slept in days"

Not literally. These are some lyrics from the song "You Lay The Dust" by Assembly of Dust. One of my favorite bands and if you have the opportunity to hear these guys live, I highly recommend doing so.

Anyways, back to business. I am heading down to MA (again) tomorrow and dropping off two paintings (which can be found here) at the Bridgewater Art Gallery in Bridgewater, MA.

These paintings (along with 9 other artists) will be in the gallery for the month of October. Be sure to stop in if you are in the area.
The two paintings that I am placing in are: "Colour of Music III" and a new painting "A Master's Mind". Both can be found on my Homepage at www.moonartdesign.com

Let me know what you think when you have the chance.

Well that's it for now. I am beat!

Cheers!

Support Live Music!!!

I still have "Support Life Music " shirts for sale. If you would like one please send me an email at moonart.design@gmail.com

Oh Crap

Well I feel like crap and I haven't been sleeping much. I did some drawing tonight which was a lot of fun. I painted last night and every time I get back in the studio it feels like it's the first time all over again.

I have been brain storming and preparing for some new drawings and paintings. I also have a logo and a web site I am designing. I will post more once I start completing some works.

In other news, the Bruins are playing the Habs tonight. Game 1 in Boston and it should be a crazy one. Last time I checked it was 2-2 in the 3rd.

I am going to try and get some shut eye tonight. This guy could use it.

That's it for now.

Go Bruins!

Bunch of Losers

"Even the losers... get lucky sometime!"

Words to live by? Potentially, if you have a low self-esteem.

Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers released this track in 1979, off the "Damn The Torpedoes" album.

1979 was it a good year? Wouldn't know I was born in 1982 and let me tell you I live in the Present.  Screw the past and everything that's there ....even those losers! :)

Okay, new topic.... Tom Petty and The "Heartbreakers", how many hearts were they really breaking?

Correct me if I am wrong, but wasn't Tom Brady ( I mean Petty) doing all the Heart breaking??

Who was even in that band besides Petty? Don't get me wrong, I think what they are doing is great. "Yeah, you go Tom Petty and you sing those songs". "It doesn't even matter whose in your band". The record company isn't really helping there cause by blurring out there faces.

I did happen to see them live down in Massachusetts and it was a great  show! They rocked the stage just like they always do. I highly recommend you check Tom Petty and the "other guys" out. You won't be disappointed.

Cheers

P.S.- Sorry "other guys".

New Drawing- Cow 2

Here is a new drawing that I finished a few weeks ago. I finally got around to take a picture of a bunch of art I have been wanting to photograph for a while now!
Yay for me! Way not to be lazy!
Okay, so the title isn't the most original but it says it all. This is my second drawing of a cow. I am beginning to like cows and I think I will draw more of them.

What do you think? Do you like it or not so much? I tried to break it up and do something different with the drawing instead of having it so straight forward.

I think I like it. No wait, I definitely like it!

If you are a cow fanatic or know someone who is let me know I will draw something up for you or a friend and we can work out a price.

Till next time....stay warm out there!!!

1.13.05

You know they say,
The world is round.
You know they say,
We can't be found.

But some, some they say,
The world is flat.

We can't walk on this earth,
If it is round like we are fat.
I'm writing this down,
it's proof, it's a fact.

You know they say,
There is life after death.
You know they say,
The whole world, they're on meth.

But some, some they say,
Where do we go if there is no life after death?

But I can't even think about that,
I would lose my breath.

You know they say,
It's all just a myth.
You know they say,
They're full of shit.

But some, some they say,
Believe, it is true, it all exists.

How can we agree, when it feels too amiss?

8.20.04-The Girl I've Never Met Before

The girl I've never met before
Has been in my dreams ten times or more.

'cause a day is a day,
And a year is a year.
And I don't know,
All I fear.

And if I see,
One more tear.
Roll down your face,
To you I swear.

I'll wipe that tear,
Off your skin.
If not now,
Maybe when.

I'll come to your door,
Weak and thin.
And throw all my clothes,
On your floor.
And hold you tight,
Against my skin.

And if this feels,
Like a sin.
Don't let it out,
Keep it inside.

The girl I've never met before,
Has been in my dreams ten times or more.
