This week I have a chess related drawing for all you chess geeks out there. I am a big chess fan and I had a lot of fun creating this. I have a long list of ideas/drawings that I want to accomplish, so it was nice to actually finish another one!

One A Week Art Project 23 of 52- King Ralphy

Here is my newest creation 23 of 52- King Ralphy. The protector of the earth and keeper of the wild.

I was at art in the park this weekend and didn't get back till late so that is why this weeks art is late. This weekend was fun, I met a lot of nice people, sold some art and enjoyed the weather! All in all, it was a fun weekend and I am looking forward to enjoying my labor day.

This weeks is a bit more vulgar than others, but so am I.

Every year I walk in the Tufts Harbor http://www.harborwalkrun.org/faf/home/default.asp?ievent=1006775
walk in Boston, MA with my family in my sisters honor. She has Mitochondrial disease and like many diseases, there is no cure.

Every year I raise money for the cause and this year I decided to send anyone who donated in support of me an original piece of artwork as an extra incentive.

Every year, I also donate 1% of all income earned on the art I have sold throughout the year to the Tufts organization.

I also inverted the image in Photoshop. I thought it looked like an etching and I like it a lot. Oh how I wish I had the money for the supplies and the patience to etch.
